Product Quality & Returns for Faulty Items

We take pride in the quality of our products and are confident you’ll love them as much as we do. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence.

A full refund will be issued for genuinely damaged items after the item is returned and inspected. Please note:

  • Items must be returned in their original, unused condition, with all packaging intact.
  • Used items, or items removed from their original packaging, will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds are not offered for any reason other than genuine damage or fault — this includes sale and pre-ordered items.

Please also note:

  • Refunds exclude postage, packaging, and payment processing fees (e.g. PayPal).
  • If we covered extra shipping costs on your behalf, this will also be deducted from your refund.

Some hijabs may have occasional loose threads or a missing bead/pearl. This is not considered damage unless the defect is excessive or affects wearability.

Returns for Non-Faulty Items

If returning for a reason other than damage or fault (e.g. sizing or change of mind), refunds will be issued minus the actual outbound shipping cost we incurred — even if a subsidised rate was paid at checkout. Customers are responsible for return postage. See our full Shipping & Returns Policy for more details.

Unclaimed Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because it was unclaimed or not collected in time, the following applies:

  • Orders will not be automatically cancelled, exchanged, or refunded.
  • We will contact you via email. Once shipping is paid again, we will resend the parcel.
  • If we do not hear back within 14 working days, the items will be returned to stock and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

Once orders have been dispatched, Royal Mail is responsible for delivery. A tracking number will be provided upon request.

Hijab Junkie is not liable for delays or losses caused by the courier after dispatch. Customers are responsible for contacting Royal Mail to resolve delivery issues.

We also cannot take responsibility for damaged gift boxes caused in transit.

Promotions & Offers

  • Promotional codes are automatically applied at checkout unless otherwise stated.
  • The 10% subscribe discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or sale items.

Returns & Refunds

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If you need to return an item, please read the following carefully:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Returned items must be in their original condition, unworn and unused, with tags still attached.
  • Refunds will be issued minus the actual cost of outbound shipping, regardless of the subsidised delivery rate shown at checkout.  Returns deducted usually is between £4.50 – £10.00 depending on parcel size and weight so please before checking out make sure you are happy with .
  • ALL Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, a refund will be processed within 14 days minus the shipping cost mentioned.
  • We do not offer exchanges you may place a new order for the item(s) required.
  • If we offered discounted or free delivery at checkout, this does not mean shipping was free for us. We cover part of that cost to keep prices competitive.
