Delivery Information
We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 services. If you are not at home when delivery is attempted, a card will be left with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your parcel.
If items are not collected within the specified timeframe, they will be returned to Hijab Junkie. In such cases, you will need to arrange redelivery, and postage costs must be paid again. Please note that no refunds will be issued for unclaimed items.
For any orders involving an exchange or return that has been previously agreed with Hijab Junkie, the postage cost including packaging will be deducted from your refund or exchange total. As a small business, we are unable to cover these costs. Any additional postage for exchanges must also be covered by the customer.

Delayed Orders
We apologise if your order is delayed. As I have a young family, there may occasionally be delays due to illness, school holidays, or other personal circumstances. Busy periods such as sales, special offers, and Eid may also affect dispatch times.
If you need your order urgently, please leave a note at checkout or contact us directly, and we will do our best to prioritise your parcel.
Birmingham Pickup
We also offer a local pickup service to avoid postage and packaging fees. Collections are available from Birmingham, Hall Green. If you wish to collect your purchase in person, you are welcome to do so. Once your order is placed, we will provide instructions on how to arrange pickup.
UK Guaranteed Delivery
For guaranteed next-day delivery, please place your order by 3pm and select the Next Day Delivery option at checkout. Orders placed after 3pm may not arrive the following day.
If you require Saturday delivery, please select the appropriate option when checking out. This must be done by 3pm on Friday. Shipping costs for this service will be calculated at checkout based on the parcel weight.
Guaranteed deliveries require a signature upon arrival. If no one is home, Royal Mail will leave a note with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your parcel.
International Delivery
We ship worldwide using Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed service, which we highly recommend to ensure a smooth and stress-free delivery process.
Tracking details are available upon request. If you would like tracking information, please email us as these details are not stored long-term.
Delivery times are approximately:
Within the EU: 5-8 working days
Rest of the world: 7-10 working days
Please note these are estimates, and delays can occur due to weekends, holidays, or customs processes.
Duties & Taxes
Customs or import duties may be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict what they may be. For more information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Delivery Charges
- Delivery fees paid at checkout are subsidised and may not reflect the full cost of delivery.
- We use trusted courier services to ensure your order is delivered safely and promptly.
Returns & Refunds
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If you need to return an item, please read the following carefully:
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Returned items must be in their original condition, unworn and unused, with tags still attached.
- Refunds will be issued minus the actual cost of outbound shipping, regardless of the subsidised delivery rate shown at checkout. Returns usually is between £4.50 – £10.00 depending on parcel size and weight so please confirm before checking out.
- Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Once your return is received and inspected, a refund will be processed within 14 days.
- We do not offer exchanges you may place a new order for the item(s) required.

If we offered discounted or free delivery at checkout, this does not mean shipping was free for us. We cover part of that cost to keep prices competitive.
Please Note:
- If you return part of an order, we reserve the right to deduct the full actual shipping cost we incurred to send your order, not just the amount shown at checkout.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

As a small business, we work hard to keep our prices competitive. Unfortunately, the growing number of returns means we must pass on actual shipping and handling costs in order to remain sustainable. We thank you for your understanding and support.
General Information
Please ensure your delivery address is correct before completing your purchase. Hijab Junkie cannot be held responsible for orders sent to incorrect addresses or parcels that are not received as a result.
I will do my best to respond to emails as quickly as possible, but please be patient during busy periods. Once orders are placed, they cannot be cancelled or amended.
Hijab Junkie reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will apply to future orders only and will be clearly published on this page. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms & Conditions regularly to stay informed.
